Over the past two years, we have noticed a bright community of young designers working throughout Europe (see previous post on London-based Jakub Zak). We are lucky enough to be showcasing some of their works here in our showroom…
The interdisciplinary pieces created by Berlin-based NEW TENDENCY are creative, new, and thoughtful. They are produced in Germany using regional handcraft techniques and designed by the in-house design team, or in collaboration with their designer/architect friends and colleagues.

Their use of colour and materials is always on point, as well as the functionality of the pieces; They can be the focal point in a room, but they can also blend seamlessly with other design objects such as Freuden von Freuden and Vitra and The Store at SOHO House Berlin. The simple, clean lines of the pieces speak to the founder, Manuel Goller’s training at the Bauhaus University in Visual Communications, and to the rigorous aesthetics that are ubiquitous in Berlin these days.

Friends and collaborators with NEW TENDENCY – Phillipp Bree’s bags for his namesake brand PB 0110 are tidy, functional and satisfying. Having learned the trade from his family’s business which he ran with his brother for over 10 years, Phillipp decided to create his own brand in 2013.
PB 0110 uses only high quality materials (vegetable tanned leathers and natural linen) sourced from selected, long-established European manufacturers. Production is handled by craftworkers at two family firms of bag-makers in Bohemia, Czech Republic, and one in Poland.
The simplicity of their designs, and the quality of their production intends that the bags become Beloved daily essentials. The look and feel of the bags will improve with time, as the leather unfolds its distinctive nature through daily use. Available for both men and women.
