Typhoon Haiyan

_

Earlier in November 2013, Typhoon Haiyan reached land in the Philippines causing widespread damage, landslides and flooding. Many of those affected were still putting their lives back together after their homeland was ravaged by an earthquake in October.

_

The Red Cross has been on the ground in the Philippines since before Haiyan reached land, preparing supplies and assistance and preparing citizens for the impending storm.  Today the Red Cross continues to help those left homeless but the storm once again rebuild their lives.

Staff at Bensen, Danet, Inform Interiors, Inform Contract, Inform Installations, and Inform Projects have been asked to donate to the Red Cross relief efforts in the Philippines.  Niels and Nancy Bendtsen will be matching staff donations dollar for dollar.  When combined with the programme offered through the Government of Canada, staff donations will effectively be quadrupled. This fundraising effort hits close to home for Inform Interiors as many staff members are from the Philippines, with many of their family members still living in the affected areas.  Fortunately for all concerned there have been no serious incidents.

If you would like to contribute to the relief efforts in the Philippines, please contact the Canadian Red Cross.
