Capo Bed by Neri&Hu for De La Espada
Capo began as a series of seating, initially designed for the Italian restaurant Capo in Shanghai, where the interior design concept was based on a basilica and possessed an old world charm of masonry enclosure appointed with handsomely crafted detailing.
The Capo is a well-balanced equilibrium between sophistication and utility, between classic and contemporary aesthetic.
Édouard by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia
Édouard is a family of innovative padded furniture endowed with powerful aesthetic and functional charm: sofas and sectional seating elements designed to create restful areas that suit both the space available and the personal taste. The system offers two typologies which differ in the height of the frames. The sofas have been designed to enhance comfort with a wide seat and a high back, which can also be fitted with a headrest, studied to ensure efficient and excellent ergonomic support.
Uchiwa by Doshi Levien for Hay
Uchiwa is a capacious armchair taking its soft and open shape from the traditional Japanese hand fan. Generous and inviting, Uchiwas hard plastic shell has surprisingly soft down padding inside. The armchair comes in two upholstered versions: in soft down for a more domestic environment and in moulded foam for a more demanding contract context. The legs come in natural or stained oak.
CH22 by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen
The CH22 was the first model in Wegners debut collection created exclusively for Carl Hansen and Son in 1950 - a series that also included such iconic designs as the CH24, better known as the Wishbone Chair, and the elegant CH25 lounge chair. The designs clearly illustrate Wegners ability, even early on in his career, to simplify a construction until it is distilled down to its essence and is full of character.
